Our current yard has limited space, but I have filled it quite handily. Mostly ornamentals, including probably far too many Japanese maples, but I do try to grow all my own culinary herbs and garlic. I also, depending on my mood and that of the local squirrels and snails, will take a swing at cherry tomatoes, strawberries, lettuce and beans. The garden is always at least two steps ahead of me.
Because part of the fun of having a garden is photographing it obsessively, I keep another blog just for garden shots. You can check it out at http://jessamynsgarden.wordpress.com.
